Powder Puffs workshops are designed to teach you the make-up techniques you want to learn with a combination of one to one tuition, group interaction and lots of fun.
You can organise a party for your friends, have some neighbours round or simply get together a group of like minded people for tuition, advice and help creating individal and easy looks. Simplify your make-up bag, learn how to make yourself up for all those important occasions or simply receive help from professional make-up artists without any brand bias.
The work shops are led by professional freelance make-up artist Marlene Farrell, who has been responsible for creating many looks for celebrities and has had extensive film and t.v. experience. You will choose a theme for your workshop whether it be basic make-up lesson, photographic, party looks or anything you feel like. This is a really friendly service so we encourage you to be adventurous! The details of this can all be discussed beforehand and finalised before your work shop so you can find a topic which interests everyone. Some people choose a one off basic make-up workshop which shows you everything you need to get your make-up perfect every day without fuss, whilst other people have chosen to go for a series of work shops learning a whole range of techniques and turning this service into their own personal make-up school; as well as a fun get together every few weeks. Bringing your make-up bag is a great idea if you would like to go through it and have an image overhaul.
Your session starts with an overview of what you will achieve. You will then be guided step by step in learning to apply professional looking make-up yourself. Additional to Marlene Farrell who will be designing the looks, answering all your queries and demonstrating techniques, Powder Puffs has a team of professional freelance make-up artists to assist. Depending on the size of your party, these artists will be there to give one to one help and keep the lesson running smoothly. All the artists who assist also work as professional make-up artists in film, television or fashion as well as working for private clients so you will be learning from people with current industry experience.

Mobile service; we will come to you in any location in Greater London . ( Workshops outside of our area are possible although travel expenses may apply ).
Selection of refreshments; delicious make-up friendly treats sourced from local suppliers.
Tools; everything you will need to work with on the day is supplied.
Face Charts; so you can make notes of techniques, colours and looks and have all the information needed to recreate these looks yourself. Shopping lists of reccomended products can also be provided as well as specialised product reccomendations tailored to you. Our clients find this service particularly useful as it can help with future negotioation of the beauy hall.
